Using artificial intelligence and a scale on which eight selected colors from paintings by the late German artist OUBEY correspond to eight elementary human feelings, viewers´ responses become visible in newly created, virtually generated pictures.
The emotional reactions, transformed to virtually generated pictures which consist of colors and structures from OUBEYs original paintings, first appear on a monitor screen but also can be printed out and taken home. They represent the merge between OUBEYs art and the emotions of someone who looks at it. This offers the opportunity of a very special experience for OUBEYs work as well as for the “co-artists” who contribute their emotional resonance into the process.
