Invited to the Majica Elemental Artist Residency in Bacolod, Juliana and Andrey Vrady developed and presented an interactive AI installation exploring the relationship between human emotion, artistic practice and emerging technologies.
The residency became a space for dialogue between international and Filipino artists, connecting contemporary media art with local artistic communities. Through presentations, discussions and collaborative exchange, the project explored how artificial intelligence can become a creative medium that expands artistic expression instead of replacing it.
"We are presenting a dialogue between human beings and technology and how technology perceives us as human beings," Juliana explained during the residency.

Interactive AI installation from couple Andre and Juliana Vrady was a presentation of the work artsits did during their residency program in Bacolod, Negros Occidental.
Vradys met Charlie Co during the Dubai exposition early this year.
“They have been filming the artists at work for the last 15 days and through their patented mood converter software, they were able to capture the emotions of the artists. These colorful moods with red as a manifestation of anger and yellow, that of joy, mixed with other colors representing various emotions turn into an abstract artwork in itself.
“We are presenting a dialogue between human and technology and how technology perceives us as human beings,” Juliana explained. This is their first time collaborating with over 60 artists and they described their installation as a cross between “art and science.””
